Leepile is a dual registered practitioner; practicing as a qualified Psychologist and Social Worker in private practice in Johannesburg. Leepile earned his Masters in Psychology with distinction from the University of Johannesburg in 2017. He later joined to Helen Joseph Academic hospital, where he was trained in the interactional approach within systemic theory and Psychodynamic approach. He treated children, adolescents, families, couples and adults in psychotherapy. He was also involved in interventions within a multi-disciplinary team various wards at Helen Joseph Hospital. He also worked in medical wards, notably with the Renal Department, Pain Management Clinic, Oncology and ER Parasuicides.
Leepile has been featured on various radio stations such as Radio 2000, Yfm and Radio 702 to provide psycho-education and for his contribution to research on Parental Alienation, how mental health stigma affects men and employee wellness. At the Joburg Medical Centre, Leepile is a resident psychologist within the multi-disciplinary team for the advancement of integrated patient care.
Leepile believes in tailoring psychotherapy for the needs of the individual, couple or group. He works eclectically from a post-modern paradigm with the premise of multiple realities, social constructionism and systemic thinking.
